Introduction
Psalm 93 is a Psalm about the might and power of Jehovah God.
Psalm 93
The Authorised Version
The Lord (Jehovah) reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the Lord (Jehovah) is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is stablished, that it cannot be moved. Thy throne is established of old: thou art from everlasting. The floods have lifted up, O Lord (Jehovah), the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves. The Lord (Jehovah) on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea. Thy testimonies are very sure: holiness becometh thine house, O Lord, (Jehovah) for ever. (Psalm 93:1-5 AV/KJV)
The 1650 Metric Psalter
The Lord (Jehovah) doth reign, and clothed is he with majesty most bright; His works do show him clothed to be, and girt about with might. The world is also established that it cannot depart.Thy throne is fixed of old, and thou from everlasting art.The floods, O Lord (Jehovah), have lifted up, they lifted up their voice; The floods have lifted up their waves, and made a mighty noise. But yet the Lord (Jehovah), that is on high, is more of might by far Than noise of many waters is, or great sea-billows are. Thy testimonies ev'ry one in faithfulness excel And holiness for ever, Lord (Jehovah), thine house becometh well.).(Psalm 93:1-5 Metric Psalter)
