Core Beliefs Of A Biblical Church

Introduction

One of the true marks of a sound church is correct biblical beliefs and practices. In this section I am going to list the essential core beliefs that all true Christians and churches must hold to and believe in.

​What A Church Should Believe

Here is a list of biblical beliefs:

Jehovah God is a Trinity (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit). He is all knowing, all powerful, and all seeing.He is eternal without beginning and end.

​Jesus was born of a virgin. He lived a sinless life. He died upon the Cross and rose again on the third day. He ascended into Heaven and will one day return to earth.

Christ is now reigning from Heaven as King.

​The Bible is the divinely inspired infallible word of God.

We are saved by grace and a true believer can not lose his or her salvation.

Heaven and Hell are literal places and Angels, Satan, and Demons are real beings.

There will be a resurrection of the dead and mankind will be judged. The righteous will be rewarded and the wicked will go to Hell.

The Gospel Message must be preached in all of the earth.

​The earth was created in six literal days.

Conclusion

All Christians and churches must believe in all of the above beliefs to be a biblically sound Christian or church.
