The Cross

God displayed the greatest act of love towards mankind by sending his Only Begotten Son Jesus Christ to earth to die upon the cross.

Today, we see Christians wearing cross around their necks and churches displaying crosses on their pulpits or altars. We even see Christians and churches venerating crosses.

The cross is a pagan symbol that was used by the Romans as an instrument of torture.

​As Christians we shouldn't be idolizing this symbol. We shouldn't be worshiping the creation (a wooden cross). We should be worshiping the Creator (Matthew 4:10).
