Most traditional churches (Catholic, Lutheran, Orthodox, Anglican and Methodist) have images of God in them.
Christian books, leaflets, tracts and films/videos have images of God in them.
However, the Bible condemns the making of and use of images/icons of God.
In the New Testament to Christians we read: "We ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's devise" (Acts 17:29 AV).
In the Old Testament to the Jews we read: "Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth" (Exodus 20:4 AV).
We can see that both the Old and New Testaments condemn the making of images of God.
Conclusion
It is clear from Scripture that we should not make images of the Godhead.
